We collect what we need to talk to you, work with you, and run the business — nothing more. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers. If you want it gone, email us and we'll delete what we're legally allowed to delete.

• ›When you contact us — your name, email, and whatever you type into the message.
• ›When you book a discovery call— your name, email, selected time, time zone, and anything you add to the booking form. These details are stored in Aurix's own booking system.
• ›When you use the site assistant — your question and a short window of that browser conversation. Do not put confidential, client, credential, production, or other sensitive data into the chat.
• ›When you become a client — the things we need to do the work: contact details, billing info, and the project files you share with us.
• ›When you visit the site — standard analytics: page viewed, referrer, rough location, device. Aggregate, not personal.

Four reasons, none of them surprising:

• ·To reply to you.
• ·To deliver the work you hired us for.
• ·To send invoices and the occasional update on your project.
• ·To understand which parts of the site are useful — so we don't waste your time with the parts that aren't.

A small set of tools that help us run the company. We pick vendors that take privacy seriously and we sign data-processing agreements where they apply:

• ·Google Workspace — for email and calendars.
• ·Google Gemini — when the site assistant is enabled, it receives your question, a short conversation window, and relevant excerpts from public Aurix pages to generate a grounded answer.
• ·Stripe and bank wires — for getting paid.
• ·Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Vercel) — for running the site and any project work.
• ·Privacy-respecting analytics — no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting.

We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Google's no-charge Gemini API tier may use submitted content to improve Google products under its current terms. That is why this assistant is limited to public-site questions and explicitly asks you not to share confidential or client data.

Different things for different reasons:

• ·Project files — for as long as your contract requires, then we either return them or delete them. Your call.
• ·Invoices and tax records — seven years, because tax law says so.
• ·Booking details — for as long as needed to arrange and follow up on the conversation, unless they become part of a client or legally required record.
• ·Marketing emails — until you tell us to stop.
• ·Site analytics — rolling twelve months, then aged out.
• ·Chatbot messages — Aurix does not write them to its application database. Google processes the request under the terms and data-handling rules of the Gemini API tier enabled for the site.

You can ask us to:

• ·Show you what we have on file.
• ·Correct anything that's wrong.
• ·Delete it (with the legal-retention exceptions noted above).
• ·Stop using it for marketing.
• ·Hand it over in a portable format.

A handful of essential cookies make the site work — remembering that you've dismissed a banner, that sort of thing. Analytics is anonymized and aggregated.

No third-party advertising trackers. No fingerprinting. No retargeting pixels. Your browser's “Do Not Track” signal is honored.

Project data lives behind authenticated systems with role-based access. Backups are encrypted in transit and at rest. We don't email passwords. Engineers only see the projects they're assigned to.

If something ever leaks, we'll tell you within 72 hours of discovery, what was affected, and what we're doing about it. We'd hate to need this paragraph. So far we haven't.

Aurix is based in Lahore, Pakistan, and our team is here. Our cloud infrastructure runs primarily in the EU (Frankfurt) and the US, depending on what your project needs.

If you're in the EU/UK and need a specific region for your project files, tell us during scoping — we can almost always accommodate.

We may update this policy as the company grows or the law changes. When we do, we update the “last updated” date at the top.

For material changes — anything that affects how we use your data — we'll email active clients first, before the change takes effect.
